By mid-August 2021 we had interviewed and accepted 5 candidates interested in joining Westerham Lodge. They had contacted us via various channels including recommendations of existing Brethren; enquiry via our Web Site and a nominee from West Kent Province (a respondee to their Web Site).
It was agreed that the Provincial Team would assist us in this multiple Initiation, which would take place in Bromley Masonic Centre. (Oakley House) on 13th September.
This would be the first time in the Province of West Kent that five new members would be initiated into the Craft at the same time.
Hence the “once in a lifetime” ceremony was carried out on behalf of the Lodge by the members of the Craft Provincial Executive together with several active Provincial Officers, led by the Provincial Grand Master.
On the day one of the candidates was taken ill and could not attend, however approximately 200 people witnessed the excellent memorable Initiation of 4 of our famous five!
